Here is snippet about this patch causing problems with Excel, there is a registry fix for Excel, but nothing for Powerpoint, so I just removed the patch. Removing Office File validation add-in is the fix. Regarding V4, it will remain a MediaShout classic that has served us well, but unfortunately due to it being around 10 years old, certain components were not able to be kept up because of their age.
